Mr. Owens received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1993 from Clemson University. He currently serves as a guest speaker for the mechanical engineering senior design class at Clemson University since spring of 2019.
​
Mr. Owens has 26 years of experience in Mechanical and Electrical Consulting Engineering, Mechanical and Electrical contracting and design and construction of power distribution transformers. He has been with Owens and Associates since 1998 and has worked on hundreds of educational projects throughout the state of South Carolina. His expertise and dedication to the field earned Mr. Owens a position as a voting member of the South Carolina Public Schools Facility Engineering Subcommittee. In addition, he was awarded the Excellence in Design Award from the Charleston County Deputy of Capital Projects in October of 2015.

Mr. Owens is a registered Engineer in the State of South Carolina, North Carolina, and Georgia. He is a member of the National and South Carolina Society of Professional Engineers, the American Society of Plumbing Engineers, the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning Engineers, the National Fire Protection Association.

Mr. Koewler received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2017 from Clemson University. He is a registered Engineer in Training with the state of South Carolina and is a member of the American Society of Plumbing Engineers and American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning Engineers.
Mr. Koewler has 4 years of experience in MEP consulting engineering as he has worked a summer internship for Davis & Floyd, Inc. Consulting Engineers. His internship focused on mechanical systems in buildings. His responsibilities at Owens and Associates, Inc. include mechanical, plumbing and fire protection design.

Mrs. Owens has 8 years of experience in project management in chemical and pulp and paper industries and 5 years of experience in consulting engineering with Owens and Associates, Inc.
